Ongoing tax advisory

Planning before major decisions and throughout the year.

A tax return reports decisions that have already been made. My work begins earlier, with a current understanding of your situation and regular planning as the year develops.

  1. A clear view of your tax picture

I review how your income, entities, real estate, retirement accounts, and upcoming decisions work together. You receive direct answers and a plan you can understand.

  2. Planning throughout the year

Tax planning is most useful while there is still time to act. We review the plan during the year and adjust it as your income, investments, and priorities change.

  3. Direct access to your advisor

You work with me from the initial analysis through ongoing planning. I stay involved, respond promptly, and do not pass your work through layers of staff.

Who I work with

For clients who want ongoing advice, not only tax preparation.

My clients are typically high‑income professionals, business owners, and families with substantial assets. Some already own real estate. Others want to make their first acquisition with the tax consequences understood before they commit capital.

Real estate tax planning

Use real estate with a clear understanding of the tax impact.

I help clients evaluate how real estate fits into their broader tax plan, whether they are considering a first property or trying to improve the treatment of an existing portfolio.

  • First‑time real estate acquisitions
  • Real estate professional status
  • Short‑term rental strategy
  • Self‑rentals and entity structure
  • Depreciation and cost segregation
  • Passive activity planning

Retirement tax planning

Plan for large pre‑tax balances before required distributions begin.

I help clients evaluate Roth conversions, tax brackets, real estate, and future income needs as part of a coordinated, multi‑year plan. The objective is to make deliberate decisions well before RMDs limit the available options.

Every recommendation is based on your facts, cash needs, investment structure, and expected tax position.

The relationship

A defined plan with ongoing access and review.

Advisory is the primary service. Tax preparation is billed separately and is available only to advisory clients.

  1. 01

    Introductory call

We discuss your current situation, what you want help with, and whether an ongoing advisory relationship is appropriate.

  2. 02

    Initial analysis and plan

I review the relevant returns, entities, income, properties, retirement accounts, and upcoming decisions, then identify the planning priorities and next steps.

  3. 03

    Ongoing advice

You receive timely communication, email access, planning meetings, and regular reviews as your circumstances and tax picture change.

A focused practice

I keep the practice intentionally small so I can remain closely involved.

Clients hire me, and they work with me. Keeping the practice focused allows me to understand each client's plan, communicate promptly, and provide the level of attention the relationship requires.
